Exactly what is on my mind and there is NO hidden agenda here. Some people find that blunt honesty hard to understand or even deal with. I guess some are more comfortable being lied to. I was almost married or really close 2 times: The first time it didn't work out (THANK GOD !) We dated 5 years. She left me for someone else (a "friend" of mine) and even though we lived just 8 miles apart, she actually MAILED the ring back ! hahahahaha (btw, her new "relationship" lasted just 6 weeks.) The 2nd time, we dated 2 1/2 years. no ring involved (almost though), but broken hearts on both sides. Just bad timing and circumstance. Never married, no kids. Not into sports. Into outdoors, Certified scuba diver/ski instructor. LOVE to cook, LOVE to dance, can "bust a move" for 4 hours straight. Lets restate this-Dancing is a PASSION. May be my only vice! Listen to ALL forms of music EXCEPT Country. I rarely talk to anyone while I am out because I am there to Dance, NOT pick someone up. If you ever see me out, your going to have to say HI first. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely outgoing, but 'typical guys' ruined it for Men like me so I keep to myself. A computer programmer 25 years, can write software in 8 languages. LOVE what I do, would do it for free, just a bonus they pay me good. You name it, I have worked on it, debugged it, on occasion thrown it on the floor and jumped on it. (a love/hate thing going on) I'm Christian, don't attend church much recently, would like to. Have found Faith is NOT the same as Religion. I'm not that 'religious' but that will never diminish my Faith. Been taught many hard lessons in life, it's the 'Faith' part that keeps me the (semi) Sane, positive person I am. Used To Do: Vol-Fireman/Ambulance Crew, studied martial arts. I help change tires, offer rides, and give money to homeless on the street (remembering when life was not so easy for myself). I Thank God he taught me the lessons he has. Who I am looking for : I do not date a lot. I am rather picky. I am looking for the total package and I refuse to settle for anything less. Lets face it, looks are somewhat important. you have to be attracted to the person you are going to marry. so yes, I am looking for someone I am physically attracted to. HOWEVER... while looks are somewhat important, I am looking for that incredible ATTITUDE as well. It's All about attitude. "You're Looking for the impossible!" Yes, I've been told by my closest friends. But I know your out there, I can feel you. I hear your sighs of frustration. I caught a vague glimpse of you in my dreams. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. When I say beautiful, is not just your face and body. It's the completeness of the person you are. Your attitude. (Proverbs 31:8-30) I'm Looking for a woman, not a girl. I am looking for a friend, a confidant, a lover. And a good swift kick in the ass when I deserve it. I'm Looking for an Equal. I LOVE that Dark Hair! Slender and fit, NOT skin and bones. Someone that appreciates the complexities of the MAN that I am, and understands, I am NOT Mr. GQ Mystery woman's attitude ? She is Not a priss, not afraid to get her hands dirty. Sincere and kind to strangers on the street, Just as comfortable in jeans and a baseball cap or a dress and high heels. Understands that I value your opinion. Strong minded and strong willed. You have your priorities and goals in life, your head is on straight. and your not afraid to tell me when I step out of line. You don't mind chicken wings or star trek and you love a good steak. Your idea of camping is actually a tent and a fire. Not an RV, generator and a hot plate. You have to be able to keep up with me on the dance floor, or at least tolerate my insatiable appetite for music. As I read someplace recently, Dance like no one is watching. Take all of that, and she has to be Christian, or at least seeking God. I have found in life, without this, none of that other stuff really matters. You can be rich, be gorgeous, but if and when the chips come tumbling down and life deals you a rough turn of cards, you better have your priorities straight, and your focus on what is truly important. All of the niceties in life are there for enjoyment. They are not to be worshiped. they do not make you, or define the person you are. Also, for whatever reason, I am drawn to Asian and Dark Skinned women. Ever since I was a child. I remember being like 9 years old and watching Zoom on PBS and thinking the Asian girl on the show was just the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life. (even more than my dirt bike - hehehe.) I still remember that silly butterfly arm trick she used to do. (HHmmm, I wonder whatever happend to her ?) But beauty is beauty, no matter how it is wrapped and the most important part is on the inside anyway. |
